The premises of the Bonazzi-Maule(1) Silk Mill complex in Via Giare in Isola Vicentina are presently used by the Cartondul company. At one time the silk mill was supplied by the Giara torrent and the Roggia dei Mulini (Mill Canal), and had its greatest development during the twenties, when its layout was extended mainly over a horizontal plane. The lofty chimney(2) remains as evidence of its past activity.
