Antonio Ferrarin
(1897 - 1971)

He was the protagonist of the initial industrial development of the Ferrarin Wool Mill and its success on European markets.
He promoted the process of expansion of the company by purchasing the nearby Ranzolin Wool Mill, renovating the Sarcedo factory and enlarging the one in Thiene, as well as by introducing new technology.
In order to give further impetus to the wool mill, in 1909 he created the Angelo Ferrarin Wool Mill Joint-Stock Company which he kept control of thanks to having a higher number of shares than other Italian and foreign partners.
Thanks to Antonio Ferrarin, the prestige of the company was raised by shrewd management and for this reason it became one of the most highly regarded businesses in the Veneto region.
